About

I love Mother Earth. And I believe the only way one can come even close to appreciating Nature's beauty is by listening, breathing, and creating. For me, Yoga and ritual are important extensions of this worship. You will notice that I mainly practice Yoga outside, and that I often draw nature into my Yoga classes as a source of energy and inspiration. Rooting, grounding, flowing.
My history in dance and childhood love of the woods is infused into my Yoga practice. Whether it's an introductory class or something advanced, you will notice my yoga teaching is not purely academic or spiritual. It is freedom of movement. It is even training, strength, and endurance. Perhaps, at its core, my Yoga is a way to express yourself, connecting with Nature and the Souls around you as you practice. I teach that movement should not be tortuous but rather something to enjoy and leverage as a deeper connection to your soul's identity, your divine power, and to earth.
That is to say, I hope my Yoga offers you something beyond just a "workout" or a "stretch." It is my dearest hope to welcome you to your yoga mat, provide you a space to open (and not just clear) your mind. To shed layers you no longer need and tune in with the authentic frequency that you desire. For many, this is stress release. For many, this is flexibility, strength, or balance. For all, it is some combination of everything that should lead you toward a more peaceful, purposeful, and joyful existence. I know Yoga (& Mother Nature) did this for me. Which is why I am here to share it with YOU.
I've been running amongst the ferns and forests barefoot my entire life. Dancing. Moving. Breathing. Nature is the best teacher and more important than any teacher training I could show you.
EXPERIENCE:

I've been dancing since I was born and competitively danced in my teen years. I began teaching dance around the same time, and still love to guest teach when possible. In college, I was president of an amazing dance club, which opened my eyes to the nuance of dance as artistry.
While I have practiced Yoga and Pilates throughout most of those teen years, I completed my 200YRT Yoga Teacher Training while in graduate school and began studying and practicing Yoga in earnest. From my Yoga studies, teaching classes in PA and NY, and my lovely yoga mentors, I feel very excited to share what I have learned with you.
By following my dreams, exploring remote corners of this earth, reading, learning, and experiencing… I am even more excited to mix all this love and spirituality up into a Yoga offering for you.
For a student, blessed to be a teacher.

Lessons from Puerto Rico
Today I write from my desk overlooking the Caribbean Sea. As my flight home looms on the horizon, I feel called to reflect on what I’ve learned during my stay in Rincon, Puerto Rico.

Finding Stillness in the Sand:
Today, I’m writing to you (sandy & sunkissed) from the coast of Puerto Rico, sharing the realities of filming in the wild. Don’t miss a Yoga freebie at the end!
